2008 - 2009
At First Congregational Church of Wilmette, Children Matter. Our approach to children’s spiritual formation promotes Biblical literacy, invites imaginative questioning, and supports the development of the spiritual practices of prayer, meditation and centering. Sunday morning church school prepares children to be conscious participants in the worship service by the time they reach 7th grade. Wednesday afternoon Kid’s Club enriches the educational experience and offers a mid-week time of fun, service, and connection with friends.
